You may have noticed that warzcentral.com stopped posting (and playing) around the Thanksgiving update. We could no longer promote a game company that consistently misleads it's customers. We should know we are also customers. We also tried to report news and provide editorials but there was no consistency and too many contradictions. This made our job of reporting facts EXTREMELY difficult. We reached out MANY times to get facts and feedback from the source(s) to no avail. After the update to the clan system and how that whole thing was handled left us with a bad taste in our mouth. We felt the line of thinking that the war z was now "released" and now a service after the foundation release (Sergey's words) combined with lack of proper management and strange business practices (like passing the burden of cost of features that use data backend to the customer) was a huge red flag. We are not surprised by the recent news that steam has dropped the war z and is looking into deleted posts and unwarranted bans on their forums, something we are way too familiar with here on their own forum (we will see how long this one lasts, maybe a while since Kewk (Community Manager) is currently in LasVegas). Again no surprise. We think this game had potential but has essentially been ruined by poor management and poor business decisions/practices.
To the players and friends we have made here. We wish you luck in finding a game that lets you play with your friends and have a good time without a bunch of sophomoric drama, misleading promises, features that cost more money, and censorship in a public forum. Look for us there because we can't find it here.
